Dr Ashok Kundapur, Founder President, worked as Professor of Zoology at MGM College, Udupi for about 30 years. During this period, he was very concerned about ever deteriorating Environment and joined hands with other like minded people of erstwhile Dakshina Kannada. His concern to the environment also enthused him into use of Alternate sources of Energy. He is now an International Authority on Solar Cookers. Dr. Kundapur has retired from active service on superannuation, and now wishes to devote rest of his life in popularising the use of Solar Energy which would lead to sustainable future.   

Sri Seetharam Hegde, Trustee, is a Science Teacher at Manipal Junior College, Manipal. He specializes in Wood Stoves and also Solar devices, such as Photovoltaic Lighting systems, Water Heaters and the like. He has helped many to fabricate these devices. He is also an active campaigner and a philanthropist in that he has established a 'Gurukula' wherein he allows boys from low income group to reside and study. He strives to make the  Gurukula self sustaining as the residents grow their own food.   

Prof. Major Radhakrishna, Trustee, working as Professor of Commerce, at MGM College, Udupi. He is holding a rank of  Major in NCC activities, and has rendered excellent service for over a decade in NCC. He is a person of high caliber. Master Facilitator in Human Resources Development, he is a wonderful Motivator.   A Black Belt Holder in Karate, but having exceptional patience in dealing with earring students and NCC cadets. He strongly believes in conservation of Energy, and would keep his vehicles in excellent condition. He has a record of riding for 107 kms/lit on his Motor Bike.
